What’s the best part of your job?

Helping my clients have an informed and influential seat at the table that helps to shape each brand’s strategic communications.

Who do you admire most in your area of work?

I greatly admire Helene Ellison, the president and CEO of HealthStar. She is hardworking, smart and takes a genuine interest in her employees.

What was your big break?

Between my junior and senior years in college, I had an internship with Ketchum’s Pittsburgh office. That’s where my agency life started.

Where did you go to college? Did it help you prepare for your career?

I went to Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA, and Syracuse. I have a bachelor’s and master’s in PR-so I’ve been in PR since I was 18 years old.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Fighting the good fight, helping my clients successfully navigate the healthcare PR landscape.

Customers. As you sit in the darkness of your living room at night, you wonder how you can afford to advertise and where.

The next morning you drag out the Yellow Pages looking for a company that specializes in marketing or advertising, make the call and to your dismay the person that you speak to informs you of the prices for their services. They tell you that it will cost from several hundred dollars to as much as 15% of your total business. You have a little bit of money left from the loan that you obtained to get the business up and running, so you agree and set an appointment to meet later in the week.

What is wrong with this scenario? Nothing if you have a lot of money to spend.

Athletes in most sports train once or twice a day in their sports, but they do not exercise intensely more often than every 48 hours.

There is a difference between the good burning of training and the bad pain of an injury. The good burning usually affects both sides of your body equally and disappears almost immediately after you stop exercising. The bad pain of an injury usually is worse on one side of your body, becomes more severe if you try to continue exercising and does not go away after you stop exercising.

A MAN has been charged in connection with a crash in which a van being followed by police collided with a car.

The female driver of the car suffered head and leg injuries in the incident, in Raymoth Lane, Worksop, on Sunday.

Luke Roe, 21, of no fixed address, is due to appear before Worksop magistrates charged with dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle-taking, driving without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

FALLEN snooker legend Alex “Hurricane” Higgins has been ordered home to build up his stamina after doctors ruled he was too weak to have lifesaving surgery.

The 61-year-old’s teeth fell out during his battle with throat cancer and his weight fell to seven stone as he existed on baby food for 10 years.

Pals raised pounds 15,000 for the revolutionary implant op in Spain but Alex was sent back to Belfast to fatten up. It is now feared he won’t survive

With a minivan conversion,

With a minivan conversion, you can have a lowered floor that?ll offer you 58?. Inside the minivan conversion, the lowered floor would extend from the backseat to the firewall, thus allowing driving from one?s wheelchair.

Even though lowered floor-side-entry minivans are very practical, they are hard to set up. As the process involves cutting the main support beams that run front-to-rear of the van, then they insert a new sub-frame and then relocate the fuel tank to the space in between the rear axle and rear bumper. The bad news is, doing this wheelchair van conversion can negatively impact ride quality and sound levels.

Rear-entry conversions on minivans are becoming more popular. It?s easy to see why because with rear-entry conversions, the user can load and unload from just about any parking spot without worry of trying to get between cars. Also, rear-entry conversions don?t require cutting the mini-vans structure. There are drawbacks though.

For instance, the wheelchair user won?t be able to get into the driver position. Plus, the user must ?back out? of the minivan.

Then there are conversions for full-size vans.

Other states where 84 Lumber closed locations include Virginia, New Jersey, North and South Carolina, Florida, Mississippi, and Illinois. The company said customers served by the shuttered locations will be served by other area stores

The most delicious aspect about a simple chocolate cookie is its taste and appearance. As it bakes, cracks form in the top of the cookie exposing dark chocolate cracks across the surface of the cookie. Sounds yum?

Ingredients: 2 cups white table sugar 4 eggs, scrambled Melt these two ingredients gently on very low heat so that they don’t scald ? cup butter 4 ounces (4 squares) baking chocolate 2 cups sifted flour 2 teaspoons baking powder ? teaspoon salt ? cup chopped nuts (you can use almonds) ? cup confection sugar for the decoration.

Procedure: – Mix the eggs and the white sugar and mix them well. – Then add the melted butter and chocolate after they cool down a little. Later add the flour, baking powder, nuts and salt and stir to combine. – Chill the batter for a few hours or overnight, so that it will be easy to handle for the next step. – Roll the dough into small balls of 1 to 2 tablespoons of batter each. Then roll each ball of batter across a plate dusted with the confection sugar to cover the entire ball. – Place each ball on a greased cookie sheet and bake in a slow oven (300 degrees) for 18-20 minutes

In compressed formats, it possible to fit much more content than on a standard format. Today the most popular compressed audio format is a system known as MP3 and it has replaced the MPEG. MP3 is most effective format for storing and listening to music on the internet. With several ministries utilizing the World Wide Web to deliver sermons and other relevant spoken content, MP3 CDs can be played on any computer that has a CD drive and a media player program installed in the system. They can also be played on standard CD and home DVD players if the product brochure states that they are MP3-compatible.
